2 tracks from mysterious artist , who dunnit? , well,
credits read "assisted by Gescom" , so is it an entirely
new artist or as had been bandied about here - Mark Bell
from LFO? , "Humba" uses what sounds like the "Tied Up"
break from 'Advance' slowed down and pushed to the limits , a
female voice whispers a phrase throughout the duration
of the track (this subliminal technique is repeated on flip)
,and is almost as if the structure has been pulled inside out,
with beats to the fore and a melodic phrase faintly audiable
under the hiss and distortion , "Khala" is the sound of the
city grinding to a halt , industrial slo-mo beats , ominious
tones and that whispering voice from the shadows.....
Think one of these tracks appeared on the 'EuroWarp' tape,
if I can remember rightly.......
